HVCA Publications has published a guide on the use of plastic pipework.

A guide to good practice on the use of plastic pipework in building-services installations for commercial and domestic premises has been published by HVCA Publications. It includes a reference and checklist for selecting suitable materials, with clear information on their engineering properties, typical applications and installation considerations. This guide, TR11, details the advantages of plastic pipework, including simple jointing, resistance to corrosion and chemical, low friction losses, thermal insulation, light weight and flexibility.
