Fashion fit-out

Lucent Lighting

Lucent Lighting has revitalised a new clothing store in London. Chic American clothing brand Veronica Beard opened its second retail store in the UK, in the sought-after Sloane Square in Chelsea, London.

The luxury fashion boutique offers signature denim, handbag and shoe collections which are classic and ready-to-wear.

The design from architect Nicholas Rigos B.V. aimed to incorporate the building’s historic aesthetic while introducing key elements which reflect
the stylish Veronica Beard brand identity. This is showcased through a mix of traditional architectural details and modern brass and marble decor.

The aim of the lighting design was to accentuate the rich pieces on display, bringing out the colours and textures of the designer clothing products as well as the interior design. Architectural lighting solutions were specified from Lucent Lighting’s extensive portfolio and installed throughout the store to highlight various features.

All LEDs are set to a high CRI of 98+ to ensure lighting consistency and high-quality colour rendering to bring out the vibrant colours of the clothing and interiors, showcasing the products in their best light to reflect the high quality of the production and bringing out the textures of the upholstered chairs in a custom block-print.
