Compressed-schedule projects

Victaulic, which produces mechanical pipe-joining systems, has launched a web site devoted to the issues, trends and challenges associated with compressing project schedules. The site features articles, strategies and tips for maximising efficiency on site. George Fenton, manager of Victaulic Construction Piping Services, says, ‘We established this site to pull together expert information from professionals at all levels across the industry to help provide solutions for compressed-schedule projects. Our hope is that this site will provide a forum for professionals to discuss issue and challenges, share strategies that have been successful and develop solutions together.’
