Real success

Armaflex

The iconic Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, home of Real Madrid Football Club, has undergone one of the world’s most ambitious stadium renovations.

Now a multi-purpose venue with a retractable roof, underground pitch and 360 degree video scoreboard, it offers an unparalleled – and noticeably more comfortable – fan experience. Not immediately visible, but certainly felt by the 85,000 spectators, is the enhanced comfort brought by the new HVAC systems.

To support HVAC performance, 75,000m of ArmaFlex tubes and 8,500m2 of ArmaFlex sheets were installed on the mechanical equipment, ensuring long-term energy efficiency, condensation control and system durability. From chilled water and refrigeration lines to hot and cold plumbing, the entire system benefits from the fibre-free, closed-cell structure and low thermal conductivity of ‘the original’ ArmaFlex insulation.

The ArmaFlex System Warranty added extra assurance for stakeholders, offering peace of mind and long-term reliability.

Backed by ArmaFlex performance, the Bernabéu Stadium, set to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup Final, promises an unparalleled experience, with advanced HVAC systems ensuring optimal fan comfort.
