Enhanced Capital Allowances boost benefits of digital lighting control

Hager’s Klik digital connection system provides cost-effective but sophisticated digital lighting control that is easy to install and commission.
The total cost of installing Hager’s Klik DCS digital-lighting-control system can now be claimed as a taxable allowance under the Government’s Enhanced Capital Allowances scheme. The system combines daylight linking and occupancy detection with other control options and can form part of a building-management system. New developments enable up to six different lighting scenes to be set. Any of the scenes can be recalled using a separate remote control left with the end user. Typical applications include meeting rooms and classrooms where different light levels are needed when teaching. Control options with Klik DCS include several types of off delay. They include switching off after a defined period of time, dimming to 25% or less after a further three hours, dim to 25% or less and maintain that level for security, dim to off progressively or fade to off after the delay period elapses.
