AET brings local control to Hiross Flexible Space system

Advanced Engineering Technologies has introduced a new controller for fan tile units for its Flexible Space concept featuring Hiross underfloor air conditioning, Nesite raised access flooring and Movinord demountable partitioning. The Fatronic E controller gives occupants better local control of their air-conditioning. Using the controller on each fan tile, a user can adjust the temperature set point or fan speed without having to ask for minor changes via the facilities or system manager. In areas with varying loads, such as meeting rooms, the fan speed can be set to automatic. This setting automatically increases the input of fresh air when cooling demand is high.
