Axair Climate and Ability combine expertise

Air-conditioning specialist Axair Climate and Ability, a major manufacturer of fan-coil units, have launched a new partnership.
Axair Climate has moved into the market for fan-coil units by setting up a partnership with Ability, a major manufacturer of FCUs and based in Dorset. Ability makes horizontal and vertical airside units and can provide innovative solutions for exacting requirements. Axair Climate’s other ranges include Condair, Defensor, Hitachi and Blue Box. Peter Lowther, managing director of Ability says, ‘Bringing together both the Ability and Axair energy-efficient product ranges was an obvious step for both companies. We will now be able to offer our clients a complete and environmentally conscious solution.’ Mike Slattery, who heads the applied-products division of Axair Climate, says, ‘We believe the partnership will be a significant step forward for both parties in a market that offers massive growth potential for these products.’
