A comprehensive range of biological grease traps to help restaurants, cafés and commercial meet Part H of the Building Regulations is available from ACO Building Drainage. These new regulations requiring drainage serving kitchens in commercial premises preparing hot food to be fitted with a grease separator or other effective means of removing grease. ACO’s biological grease traps are available for installing below the ground or as free-standing versions. The BG (below-ground) range is designed for kitchens preparing up to a thousand meals a days. They are made of polypropylene. The FS (free-standing range) is designed for premises producing up to 250 meals a day. They can be polypropylene or stainless steel for applications where hygiene is critical or appearance is important.
