Liquid chillers achieve very high efficiencies

Contributing to a seasonal energy-efficiency ratio of 7.3 for a new high-efficiency chillers from Airedale is Turbocor compressor technology.
Airedale has introduced a range of high-efficiency liquid chillers with cooling capacities from 500 to 1100 kW. They can achieve an ESEER (seasonal energy-efficiency ratio) of 7.3 using optional Turbocor compressor technology. Turbocor compressors have a starting current of just 2 A. These chillers are available as water-cooled and air-cooled versions and have extremely efficient heat exchangers. They are optimised for R134a. Other energy-efficient features include electronic expansion valves and intelligent control systems. They also achieve very low sound levels.
