Bailey secures BP contracts

Bailey has secured a £7 million-plus contract to design, install, test and commission all mechanical, electrical and plumbing installations for BP’s new North Sea headquarters in Aberdeen. The company, a division of NG Bailey, is also responsible for the enhanced fit-out of tailored building services in the new headquarters. This work is worth a further £6 million and will include the installation of stand-alone data and air-conditioning systems. The work will take 14 months. Once complete, the 20 500 m2 3-storey building owned by international office developer Akeler will be leased by BP as the headquarters for all its North Sea operations in the UK and Norway.
