Flir Systems now offers a dedicated foundation course for building science thermography.
Thermography specialist Flir Systems has introduced into its seminar programme a foundation course for building science thermography. The first will be held from 15 to 17 November at the company’s infra-red training centre in West Malling, Kent. The course will provide a comprehensive grounding in all aspects of the subject, taking in the principles of building construction and physics and examining the effects of air speed, moisture and noise. The latest legislation will be covered, and there will be a blower door available for delegates to gain practical experience in air-tightness testing. The principal speaker for the course, which costs £700 per delegate, is Karl Grimnes, who has more than 25 years’ as a building professional. sales@flir.uk.com

More refrigerant bans possible, says government
