All the hot-water requirements for this new fitness centre in Flintshire are met by an installation of three Rinnai Infinity HD water heaters delivery hot water on demand without storage.
Instantaneous hot water to meet the requirements of the LyonsDen Fitness Centre at Bagillt in Flintshire is generated by three Rinnai Infinity HD50i water heaters. The installation meets all the requirements of this purpose-built and privately owned 120 m2 club, which includes nine showers, 12 hand basins and the kitchen area. These water heaters are installed in series, without storage, on a secondary return system in a manifold configuration with a fanned balanced flue extending vertically through the roof. Neil Lyons, the owner of the club, who also designed it, was quite clear of his requirements. ‘I was looking or an electronically controlled system without hot-water storage that provided a single water feed at a preset temperature without mixing valves, to avoid the possibility of scalding.’ He also required a continuous and instant supply of hot water, even at peak times.
