Electric panel heaters from Coverad feature modulating control to give electrical economy.
Coverad’s SlimLEC range of slim-line electric panel heaters are available with a powder-coated finish, brushed or stainless steel. They offer outputs from 400 to 1600 W with the surface temperature at 70°C. Where specified, the surface temperature can be limited to 43°C. These heaters are only 40 mm deep and offered in four sizes. They can be installed vertically in spaces between windows or horizontally. Bathroom heaters with a towel rail are also offered in four sizes. For electrical economy, the specially developed heating elements are controlled by an integral digital thermostat with drift compensation to provide staged modulation of heating output. There is a range of intelligent control options to suit room function and occupation cycle. They can substantially reduce electricity consumption compared with older-style panel heaters. The heaviest unit weighs 14 kg. Installation involves securing the heater to the wall and plugging it into a nearly 13 A socket.
