Marstair majors on Quartz brand for chilled water

To advance its strategy for developing its chilled-water business, Marstair has consolidated all chilled-water products under the Quartz brand and dropped the Airking brand. Maurice Diamond, chilled-water product manager with Marstair explains, ‘Within the UK, Quartz is a strong recognised brand for chilled-water fan coils, and we initially added the cassette and plastic-bodied wall-mounted product to the range. It has always been our intention to focus all chilled-water products under this strong brand. With the addition of the vertical and horizontal cased fan coils, vertical chassis fan coils, three ranges of chilled and air-to-water heat pumps and a novel chilled-beam cassette, the Quartz range of products is one of the most comprehensive available to the market place. ‘To avoid confusion and further streamline production, it made sense for us to drop the Airking brand, the previous name used by Marstair for its chilled-water products.’
