Using R407C, a new range of roof-top air-conditioning units from Daikin Europe offers cooling up to 122 kW.
Daikin Europe has introduced a range of R407C packaged roof-top air-conditioning units for applications such as supermarkets, warehouses, factories, hotel lobbies, cinemas, restaurants etc. UAT(Y)P units are available as heat-pump and cooling-only versions. There are 10 models with capacities of 16.7 to 109.6 kW for the heat-pump versions and 17.3 to 121.6 kW for the cooling-only units. This units are built around ultra-high-efficiency scroll compressors, optimised heat exchangers and high-performance belt-driven fans — so air volume and static pressure can be adjusted as required. The direction of air inlet and discharge can be changed during installation from horizontal (standard) to vertical simply by repositioning the fan assembly. Al models have SLM electronic remote controller and sequential LCD. The controller has a 15 h delay timer, temperature settings from 16 to 30°C, fan-speed selection, air swing and night-time operating mode. The LCD incorporates a 7-day programmable timer, compressor run/error status indicator, energy-saving mode, key lock and auxiliary electric heater.
