Available as printed edition and CD-ROM with extras is the Society of Light & Lighting’s new code for lighting.
An updated edition of the ‘Code for lighting’ is now available from the Society of Light & Lighting. It is published on CD-ROM and as a printed edition and includes significant extra and updated information for lighting designers and other professionals with responsibility for interior lighting. The CD-ROM includes a new edition of ‘Lighting guide 7: office lighting’ and a guide to obtrusive light written for the society by Peter Wright and James Patterson. The guide costs £119 on CD-ROM and £135 for CD-ROM and printed guide, plus VAT and postage, with discounts for SLL and CIBSE members

More refrigerant bans possible, says government

The government could tighten up the rules that restrict the use of global warming refrigerant gases including speeding up phase-out programmes and introducing new bans, according to a spokesman from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA).
