Efficient lighting for cold stores

02 September, 2004

Chalmor’s Endurance lighting suffers little fall off in performance — even in cold stores.

The cold-temperature performance of Chalmor’s Endurance lighting system is rated at -25°C, making it applicable for cold rooms. These fittings provide 150 W of white light that degrades by only 6%. Striking is instantaneous, and full light output is attained within a minute. The system can interface with passive-infra-red sensors and has a 60 000 h life expectancy, which far exceeds standard fluorescent lighting. info@chalmor.co.uk
