HVCA Publications has published a guide to good practice for heat pumps. TR/30 is described as a comprehensive manual for the different applications of heat-pump technology. It offers advice for professional building-services engineers and defines vital regulations, including environmental issues. This guide is intended to be part of a suite of publications covering generic installation requirements for a range of renewable-energy systems — including biomass fuels, solar hot water and CHP.
