Bailey on the education trail in Oldham

The £9.5 million contract for M&E services for two new schools in Oldham has been awarded to Bailey. The work is part of a large PFI scheme worth a total of £97 million. Bailey Teswaine, which specialises in information and communication technology, will carry out data installation work. Set to span 48 weeks, Bailey’s remit forms part of Oldham Borough Council’s initiative to improve schools in the area. Failsworth and Radcliffe secondary schools are being replaced with new state-of-the-art facilities. Both schools are scheduled for completion in February 2008 and will be attended by around 3000 students.
