Eaton Electric has introduced a range of moulded thermoplastics wiring accessories with plates moulded from polycarbonate to make then extremely robust and resistant to cracking. The EMA range includes all accessories likely to be needed for normal applications. They include lighting switches with one to four gangs, retractive switches, intermediate switches, 20 and 45 A double-pole switches, dimmers, 13 A switched and unswitched socket outlets and connection units, shaver units and 3-pole isolators for extractor fans. There are also matching communication outlets for televisions, satellite, telephone master and slave outlets and Ethernet sockets. There is also a 16 A card-operated switch for hotel rooms and a small range of grid plates to produce custom-made plates incorporating special combinations of switches and other components. 20 A double-pole switches can have pre-printed legends. 15 A round-pin switched socket outlets and 16 A universal 2-pin sockets are also available. These accessories have a modern appearance, and tight-fitting caps can be fitted to conceal fixing screws.
