Good vibrations from Adey

Connected to a suitable drill, the VibraClean massively speeds up the effectiveness of power flushing central-heating system.
The time taken to power flush central-heating systems can be halved using Adey’s VibraClean radiator agitator. The metal body of the VibraClean head has a nylon injection-moulded head and is powered by a standard SDS drill. During power flushing, the head is held flat against the radiator and operated flat along its base for 10 to 20 s — or as required to remove sludge and hardened deposits. More sludge is said to be removed in 20 s than in 30 min of operation of Adey’s MagnaClean power-flushing filter. Chris Adey, the company’s managing director, says, ‘Power flushing is now accepted as best practice by central-heating professionals for system cleaning, maintenance and long-term protection. With VibraClean, there is no need to remove a radiator to clean it out.’
