Swirl diffuser responds to heating or cooling needs

diffuser
Settable for heating or cooling, or available in automatic versions — Air Diffusion’s adjustable swirl diffuser.
Air Diffusion has launched a range of adjustable-swirl diffusers for heating and cooling. The range includes motorised models which can be used with the ADT-1 differential thermostat to set up an automatic system. Different air-distribution patterns are required for heating and cooling. Vertical discharge is most suitable for heating, while a horizontal pattern is needed when the system is in cooling mode. Ensuring the correct discharge pattern is particularly important in shopping malls, exhibition halls and other large open spaces with ceiling heights of 3 to 12 m. The OD-11 variable-air-pattern ceiling swirl diffusers comprises a circular outer casing housing a set of moveable inner vanes to alter the angle of discharge from horizontal to vertical. The vanes are controlled manually or by an electric actuator. Units are available in sizes from 125 to 800 mm. Both manual and motorised versions are offered in standard white polyester powder-coat finish. Other colours are available.
