Autodesk’s Impression makes graphics from CAD

Autodesk has unveiled a preview of Autodesk Impression software in Europe to help architects and other CAD users create illustrative presentation graphics from DWG and DWF files. This software eliminates the work previously required to develop compelling images from CAD drawings. After opening a DWG or DWF file, users can add everything from distinctive line types to textured colour fills using pre-built or custom appearance styles. Libraries of styles can be saved and reused. Impression understands CAD data, so users can take full advantage of the power of layers and blocks when creating their images. Autodesk Impression Technology Preview is available for download.
