Princely savings by Viessmann

Viessmann has played a part in the reduction of carbon emissions by the Household of the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall. The reduction of 9% included the contribution from the installation of a carbon-neutral heating system at Highgrove. 9m2 of Viessmann Vitosol 200 vacuum-tube solar collectors supplemented the woodchip and biomass burning boiler. The system was configured by TESA (Western) Ltd and includes energy and carbon monitoring ability.

More refrigerant bans possible, says government

The government could tighten up the rules that restrict the use of global warming refrigerant gases including speeding up phase-out programmes and introducing new bans, according to a spokesman from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA).
