Utility monitoring, control and cost allocation

meter
Energy metering and cost allocation — the EM26-96 from Carlo Gavazzi.
Carlo Gavazzi has added a new model to its range of energy meters for industrial and domestic applications. Applications include import and export energy metering and cost allocation. This meter complies with the recently introduced Measuring Instruments Directive. A comprehensive range of system and single-phase variable measurements is provided, along with utility metering (energy, hot/cold water, gas and remote heating). Loads can be monitored up to the 15th harmonic. Cost allocation, cost splitting, variable and multi-tariff controls are facilitated by three digital outputs. An additional RS485 communications port provides compatibility with MODBUS-RTU and iFIX SCADA systems. A joystick control allows users to scroll through the readout, and there is a rotary selector to switch between alternative measurement pages.
