As part of the transformation of two historic buildings into Bruges’ only 5-star hotel, Raychem electric underfloor heating has been installed in the bathrooms of all 95 rooms.
Raychem electric underfloor heating systems have been installed in all 95 bathrooms of the Kempinski Hotel Charles V in Bruges, Belgium. The development involves the restoration and redevelopment of a former convent and a castle in the medieval city centre to create what will be Bruges’ only 5-star hotel. T2QuickNet electric heating mats are being installed under marble-tiled floors to give a floor temperature of 29°C. Tyco Thermal Controls supplied the Raychem systems and completed the designs for all 95 bathrooms within four days of receiving the project drawings using its proprietary software.
