Flexibility in design and later changes — Merlin Gerin’s Prisma Plus range of switchboards.
The ability to use any combination of Merlin Gerin or Telemechanique devices in Merlin Gerin’s Prisma Plus switchboards gives end users tremendous flexibility. Devices can include miniature circuit breakers, moulded-case breakers and control devices. These switchboards are available for wall mounting or free standing with a maximum rating of 3200 A from IP30 to IP55. They can be supplied as a type-tested assembly and as prefabricated tested solutions for distribution, power and auxiliary connections. A switchboard can include automation, switchgear and motor controls. The internal layout reflects the wiring diagram, providing logical and simple identification of devices. There are dedicated zones for the panel builder, installer or cabling contractor and end user. After installation changes can be made, such as adding or removing feeders and altering the IP rating.
