Wilo takes more control of pressure-boosting systems

Booster sets with up to six pumps can be controlled by Wilo’s CC-Booster.
Wilo’s CC-Booster switchgear is an advanced system for controlling multiple pumps in pressure-boosting sets. Up to six pumps can be controlled, and the CC-Booster has input to an inverter to vary the speed of the base-load pump. When demand exceeds the capability of the base-load pump, additional pumps are switched on an off as required. The multi-functional touchscreen permanently displays, pump and system status, as well as current system pressures. A user-friendly navigation menu facilitates operation and adjusting set points. Expansion modules provide for remote diagnosis and maintenance. These controllers can be integrated into building-management systems using systems such as Profibus, Modbus, LON or CAN-Bus, Ethernet or TCP/IP. Booster sets with up to six pumps can be controlled by Wilo’s CC-Booster.
