Both heating and cooling can now be provided by Airedale’s StoreMaster packaged/split system air-conditioning units.
Airedale has added a reverse-cycle heat-pump option to its StoreMaster range of packaged/split-system air-conditioning units. The dual-circuit heat pump provides heating or cooling according to the season. Also new to the StoreMaster range is the use of R410A and EC supply-air fans to complement previous features such as electronic expansion valves, hydrophilic coils and, on the cooling-only version, tandem scroll compressors. StoreMaster now uses Airedale’s intelligent, modulating AireTronic micro-processor control system — a network-capable fully programmable controller that can be integrated with a wide range of BMS protocols. Available with cooling capacities of 50 and 77 kW, StoreMaster is primarily intended for external installation as a packaged unit, but can be positioned in a building as a split system. The units are designed to support heavy ductwork and can be applied to cooling superstore warehouses, department stores and other large retail outlets.
