Coolmation adds to its Rhoss chiller offering
Coolmation now offers the Rhoss Y Power scroll series of air-cooled chillers in the UK. They have cooling capacities from 368 to 523 kW and use R410A and multi-scroll compressors to achieve superior energy performance at part load. These chillers are Eurovent approved and have five or six scroll compressors to provide small steps in capacity and high efficiency at part loads. A specially designed and constructed stainless-steel plate evaporator minimises counterflow and pressure drops — increasing evaporation efficiency and helping to reduce energy consumption. Other features include micro-processor control, improved design of condenser fins and tubes and electronic expansion valves. The control system is set up for easy connection with Modbus RTU and LON. Coolmation can supply these chillers with factory-fitted accessories — including water circulating pumps and buffer tanks.
