This new concept in Butlins holiday accommodation at Minehead has space heating and hot water provided by Lochinvar equipment.
Energy-efficient equipment to provide space heating and hot water for the new timeshare development of Butlins at Minehead has been supplied by Lochinvar. The Blueskies vacation club offers members an annual break in a stylish, contemporary apartment on the seafront with free access to the main Butlins resort. There are 24 apartments. Space heating is provided by three CP-M100 condensing boilers, which were supplied complete with manifold pipework. It has built-in weather compensation and a pre-mix burner to minimise NOx emissions. Hot water is provided by two copper-fin water heaters and two LST 100 storage tanks. The copper-fin range operates on the principle of low storage capacity but fast recovery. The equipment was specified by Curona Design of London and Installed by The Mackie Engineering Co.
