Fire Protection wins major fire-industry award

Fire Protection, which makes and installs Flamebar BW11 fire-resistant ductwork, has won the Fire Safety Installer of the Year award for passive-fire-protection systems at the recent Fire Industry Awards, hosted by the BBC’s Jeremy Vine. The judges were looking for successful installation, customer satisfaction, commitment to staff training and third-party accreditation. Flamebar BW11 is pre-eminent among the company’s passive-fire-protection products. It has exhibited outstanding performance when tested under furnace conditions, meets all relevant British Standards and is entirely suitable for situations where up to four hours’ fire protection is required.
