Siemens controllers hit the eu.bac mark

Terminal-unit controllers from Siemens Building Technologies far exceed the requirements of the eu.bac certification scheme.
Design RXC controllers from Siemens Building Technologies for terminal units are among the first devices to achieve certification and be allowed to use the eu.bac logo (see page 33 for more information on eu.bac). This accreditation proves that these controllers provide energy-efficient control and can be a major factor in reducing a building’s carbon footprint. To achieve certification, these controllers had to maintain their simulated control temperature to within ±1.4 K under varying load conditions during both heating and cooling cycles. RXC controllers far exceed this requirement and achieve ±0.2 K for heating and ±0.1 K for cooling, making them among the most accurate controllers for individual zone control on the market. The RXC range comprises individual room controllers, extension modules and room units with data communication based on LonWorks technology.
