Viessmann makes solar panels less obtrusive

Solar water heating is a worthwhile long term investment, and with the introduction of its roof integration kit, Viessmann has made solar panels less obtrusive. A kit allows solar panels to be recessed within the depths of tiling. A tray is mounted where the panels are to be sited; the tray has profiles to fit Roman, slate or plain tiles and can be coloured to match. Side flashing pieces are made to the tiles, and the solar panels then mounted to the tray. A curved box section then covers the pipework connections to the panels. The finished installation shows about the same profile as a roof-mounted window light.
