Granular coil cleaner

Available in granular form for ease of handling and mixing, DiversiTech’s Pro-Universal alkaline coil cleaner is non-foaming and biodegradable.
A cleaning agent for coils in air-conditioning units and air handling units comes in granular form for ease of handling. Pro-Universal granular coil cleaner is being brought to the UK market by Diversitech and being made available through over 200 specialist distributor outlets. The contents of a 480 g screw-top container can be mixed with 8 litres of water to produce a non-foaming alkaline cleaning agent, which, the company says, exceeds all the cleaning properties of conventional foaming agents. Unlike acid-based cleaners, Pro-Universal does not remove the protective layer from aluminium fins. Instead, it leaves a molecular coating on them to prevent dirt building up. The product is bio-degradable, so air-conditioning engineers and contractors need have no concerns about any potential impact on the environment. When used on indoor condensing units, there is no need to rinse off the cleaner as it will be removed by the condensate. Pro-Universal is also available in a 5 litre concentrated liquid form and a a one litre pre-mixed trigger pack.
