Cost-effective dimming for fluorescent lighting

Hamilton Litestat
Hamilton Litestat has added to its GridIt wiring-accessories a 1 to 10 V grid module for use with analogue regulated fluorescent ballasts. This manually operated high-frequency ballast controller provides an effective and economical way to dim fluorescent lamps. Each dimmer is installed with a suitably rated 2-way grid switch to switch and control up to 20 A. Another addition to the GridIt range is a 0 to 10 V DC control for use with Hamilton’s dimming system range. This control is used with Hamilton’s analogue remote-mounted dimmer packs to offer an economic solution for dimming loads up to 5 kW. These modules are designed for fitting into 35 mm metal wall boxes.
