High-output condensing gas-fired water heater

Lochinvar has added a larger model to its TurboCharger range of gas-fired condensing water heaters.
Lochinvar has added a new model to its TurboCharger range of gas-fired condensing water heaters. The 117-380CE offers the highest output of the range of six models, with recovery rates from 700 to 2160 l/h through a temperature rise of 44 K. Storage capacities are from 230 to 380 l. As with the existing range, the new model is available with an optional interface to a building-management system, which comprises fault indication and remote enable terminals. The room-sealed combustion design provides a great deal of installation flexibility and overcomes the problem of open-flued appliances in negative-pressure areas such as commercial kitchens so that it can be installed close to the point of use. A factory-fitted Correx electrical system provides protection against corrosion caused by electrolytic action.
