Pipe clip improves thermal efficiency of boreholes

By improving thermal transfer between a borehole and the heat-extraction system of, for example, a ground-source heat pump, the GeoClip is said to improve performance by up to 20%. Available in the UK through GBT (Europe), the use of GeoClips could help reduce the number, depth and cost of borehole installations. These clips secure the pipe to the side wall, minimising the insulating effect of grouts and maximising the separation of flow and return pipes to prevent transfer interference.
