New lighting brings refreshing change to hospital in Milton Keynes

The installation of Actulite polarised daylight lighting in the refurbishment of three corridors in Milton Keynes Hospital was so well received that it has since been specified to replace the existing lighting in a ward. This polarised daylight lighting creates a source of light virtually identical to natural daylight using a patented multi-layered polarising panel, high-frequency control gear and specially made triphosphor full-spectrum fluorescent tubes to create natural, low-glare lighting with minimal shadowing and excellent colour rendering. Project manager Barry Fox says, ‘The corridors look much brighter since the refurbishment and have been well received by hospital staff.’
