EarthEnergy helps exploits ground energy in Camden

To meet the requirements of the Greater London Authority to use as much green energy as possible, the conversion of a former Victorian warehouse in Camden will have heating and cooling provided by ground-source heat pumps, with solar-thermal panel for domestic hot water. This mixed-use development includes shops, offices and 24 apartments. EarthEnergy is drilling 27 boreholes, each 100 m deep, in the existing underground basement. The geothermal loops will be connected into the plant room, with all pipework hidden below the basement slab.
