Lochinvar condensing-water-heater sales help support energy charity

Water-heater and boiler manufacturer Lochinvar has donated a 4-figure sum to the National Energy Foundation to support its work in helping individuals and organisations reduce carbon emissions. Lochinvar launched two new ranges of condensing water heaters in 2007 and for each one sold made a contribution to NEF. NEF will use the donation to help refurbish the Green Energy Machine, a demonstration vehicle that houses examples of renewable energy. This vehicle is available for hire to raise awareness of renewables and climate-change issues at shows, community events and schools. David Pepper, managing director of Lochinvar, said, ‘We invest in advanced technology and products which are energy efficient because we believe we can all make a difference in cutting carbon emissions, conserving resources and reducing the impact on the planet. ‘The National Energy Foundation is working hard to encourage individuals, businesses and communities to do their bit, and we were happy to help.’
