Complete connectivity solutions for York chillers

Johnson Controls has announced that its York range of chillers can now offer a complete connectivity solution with the release of the E-Link gateway. It replaces the existing York Microgateway, which is being discontinued for new projects, although replacement parts will continue to be available. This new gateway enables a number of standard open-communities protocols, facilitating integration into a Metasys building-management system or with third-party monitoring or control system that supports standard communication protocols. It is compatible with BACnet, MSTP, N2 Open and Modbus RTU as standard and LON as an optional interface. The E-Link gateway makes possible the efficient management of communication protocols used by York chillers and manages data in a consistent, organised and defined medium. The configuration of the gateway for the equipment profile and output communication protocol is achieved by a simple switch selection. Another benefit is quick start-up of the connectivity interface to the chiller. The E-Link gateway is available as an option on current York chillers and as a field upgrade.
