Skerritt opens office in Fort Dunlop

Looking to a successful future operating from Fort Dunlop — Stuart Hill, managing director of Skerritt.

One of the leading M&E firms in the Midlands has taken up occupancy of Birmingham’s flagship regeneration project, the Fort Dunlop building. Skerritt has made the former tyre factory its West Midlands base, adding to its network of offices across central England. The company also has office in Nottingham and Cambridge. Skerritt occupies 230 m2 on the third floor, from where it operates a team of managers and engineers. Managing director Stuart Hill says, ‘The Fort Dunlop site is brilliant for a company like us. It’s on the right side of Birmingham, with good transport links to the rest of the country, and it has a good vantage point over the city centre.’ The Birmingham office will co-ordinate Skerritt projects in the higher-education, commercial and leisure sectors. The company has signed a 6-year lease.
