DECs produced automatically

DEC
Software that enables organisations to comply with the requirements of legislation relating to Display Energy Certificates has been introduced by t-mac Technologies, in partnership with i-prophets Energy Services. DEC Compliance Software has been developed using i-prophet’s ‘digitalenergy’ framework to help public authorities comply with the legislation. In addition, this software adds the facility for live and online DECs, enabling users to assess changes in energy performance daily and account for changes in their ratings. Using an Internet connection, this software allows for the production of accredited DECs and advisory reports for multiple buildings. Lisa Wilkinson, director of t-mac, says, ‘Through technology, we can offer DEC-accredited software that takes the hassle, worry and inconvenience of energy legislation out of the hands of facilities and building managers and onto a secure and easy-to-use Internet portal.’
