MHS Boilers expands its cast-iron Regency range

Boiler
MHS Boilers’ AK/AK2 range of cast-iron boilers do not require back-end temperature protection.
MHS Boilers has added two more models to its Regency range of atmospheric cast-iron sectional boilers. The AK and AK2 ranges comprise nine models with outputs from 130 to 260 kW. A feature to increase return-water temperature enables these boilers to operate continuously at low return-water temperature without condensation and thermal shock. Jetstream consists of an injector in the return connection port effecting circulation in the rear two sections of the boiler. Jetstream simplifies installation by not requiring back-end temperature protection. It can cater for variable-temperature installations without having to fit mixing valves. All boilers have high/low firing and fully automatic ignition. They have a net efficiency of 91% at full load and 92.5% at part load. A low-line draught diverter makes these boilers well suited for installation in situations with low head room. There are flow and return connections on both right and left sides of the heat-exchanger and water and gas connections at the side. www.mhsboilers.com
