Ground-source heat pumps have higher output temperatures

Dimplex now offers a full rangeof high-temperature heat pumpsfor commercial and domestic applications with the launch of theSI MEH single-phase ground-source heat pump.

While improving the insulation of a building can enable the heating system to operate at a lower flow temperature, higher-flow temperatures of 60°C or more are needed for domestic hot water or where the heat pump has to serve existing radiators.

The SI MEH range is available with outputs of 6, 9 or 11 kW with water-output temperatures of up to 70°C, so DHW can be generated at up to 60°C.
