Hills expresses preference for the XPress system

Winner
Helen Samways, product manager for XPress with Yorkshire Fittings, receives the Hill’s Preferred Product Award from David Hill, group chief executive of Hills Mechanical & Electrical.
The savings in installed cost of Yorkshire Fittings’ XPress range of press-fit pipe fittings and System tube have led to it winning the status of Hills Preferred Product 2004. This awards scheme is operated by contractor Hills Mechanical & Electrical. XPress is now a Hills’ preferred product for specification on mechanical-services contracts. It was following the success of XPress Copper in sizes from 15 to 108 mm that the concept was extended to stainless steel, carbon steel and above-ground gas services. XPress Carbon steel and tube also come in sizes from 15 to 108 mm. Lightweight galvanised tube is offered with a plastic coating in sizes up to 54 mm. The XPress Gas range of copper and copper-alloy fittings comes in sizes from 15 to 54 mm.
