Microwave detector controls lighting automatically

CP Electronics

A ceiling-mounted microwave presence detector from CP Electronics provides automatic control of lighting loads, with optional manual control. It can be used with fluorescent, compact fluorescent and incandescent light sources.

The MWS6-PRM has two operating modes — presence detection (lights on when movement is detected and off otherwise) and absence detection (lights switched on manually and off automatically when the area is no longer occupied).

An integral infra-red sensor enables a detector to be programmed using a handset. Adjustments can also be made to sensitivity, lux and time settings using controls on the rear of the sensor head.
