Installations of ECO cylinders form Albion Water Heaters can be grant-supported following ClearSkies approval.
ClearSkies approval has been granted for Albion Water Heaters’ range of ECO cylinders, so that installations can be supported by grants to assist in the drive towards greener energy usage in the UK. These open cylinders can be heated by solar energy when it is available and by traditional means otherwise. A twin coil provides an efficient means of using two fuel sources without waste. Thermostats ensure that the system is well controlled. The ECO coil is near the base of the cylinder to ensure that the full storage capacity benefits from energy input. ECO cylinders are available with capacities from 115 to 250 litres in diameters of 400, 450 and 500 mm. The revised Part L of the Building Regulations makes much of the need for supplementary solar energy and will be a major stimulus to increased business in this sector.
