Push-to-fit circular duct requires no screws or rivets

Lindab

Lindab’s self-locking Safe Click circular ductwork system is assembled by means of interlocking ‘notches’ created on site with a Lindab SR cutting bench. Duct and fittings slot together with a simple click, without the need for screws or rivets.

No sealants are required, and there being no holes for screws and rivets reduces air leakage.

Installation time is half that of a conventional taped and sealed system, according to BSRIA tests, with costs reduced by 20%.

The tests also shpwed a leakage rate 43.8% of that from a system using traditional components — at 500 Pa.

The Lindab SR Cutter is an essential accessory. Two measuring scales in the cutting table enable sections of duct to be cut to precisely the required length. The mechanism ensures a precise, clean cut every time.
